In electronic commerce and online advertising, a brand advocate is a person, or customer who talks favorably about a brand or product, and then passes on positive word-of-mouth (WOM) messages about the brand to other people. Brand advocates often share company news via social media channels as well as they tend to be an early-buyers of company products and services. Some customer service departments handle customer service inquiries published by brand advocates with different priority or by following different workflow procedures.
