Engagement is the degree to which customers are connecting with a brand or the brand’s posts on the internet. A high level of engagement means that customers feel connected to a brand, usually because the brand is responsive over social media. Customers who are engaged are more likely to be loyal, to share and comment on posts, and to recommend the brand to friends.
